About Injaz:
Save the Children pioneered INJAZ (“Achievement” in Arabic) in 1999 with the goal of enhancing youth knowledge and awareness of the evolving world of work and building their skills to enter and succeed in the labor market. Reaching more than 50,000 Jordanian students aged 12–24 each year, INJAZ bridges the gap between the output of a traditional education system and the human resource needs of a modernizing private sector.

In my 2nd year in university I was chosen to be a member in Injaz committee. The committee handled several responsibilities; we coordinated courses and workshops, and represented our university in nationwide activities.
Committees Meeting in Aqaba:
Injaz held a capacity building training for university students in Aqaba during the period from 27th - 28th November 2004. Our committee participated in the activity and we made a presentation about Injaz in our university. You can see it here...
Successful Skills Course:
These pictures were taken from the course which was held in the university, Spring 2005. The committee collected forms from students, and then called them to attend the course. The instructor was a volunteer from the private sector.
The course emphasized on communications skills, team work, and creative thinking.
At the end of the course, there was a graduation ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the headmistress of Injaz (Irbid-Branch), Mrs. Huda Obaidat, and Injaz university-coordinator, Mr. Siraj Al-Hmood.
I presented the graduation speech which I wrote it myself. You can read it here...
