And I was the 15th and the youngest participant in the Jordanian group.

We flied to Germany on the Royal Jordanian Airlines on Wednesday the 31st of August. Our direction was Munich Airport, where we found the German group waiting for us.

Our schedule was full in Germany. The activities varied from sports to academics and even politics... We took thousands of pictures...

Here are some of our activities:

  • Bicycle trip: Visit a modern farm - Monastery of Andechs.

  • Sightseeing in Munich: Visit Dachau Concentration Camp.

  • Salzbergwerk: The Mysterious World of Salt (Salt Mines, inside the Alps).

  • Castles: Herrenchiemsee Castle (Example of German Kings).

  • Nature & Environment: Hiking over the Benedikten Mountain (Alps Series).

  • Industry: Visit the AUDI plant in Ingolstadt.

  • Universities: Visit the University of Nurmberg & the University of Göttingen.

  • Berlin: Visit the German Parliament & the Jordanian Embassy & Dutch Ville (DW TV).

  • Hanover: Visit the city hall & meet the Mayor of Hanover.

Beside all the activities, we had lived in the German society. German families hosted us in their homes. Rami and I were hosted by a great man named Marlin. He offered us a very comfortable stay with his great family, And I really enjoyed being there very much. This enabled us to know and understand the German life and the way they think and live.

Moreover we had a cultural day in Tutzing -the town we were staying in- where many German families visited us to know about Jordan and about our culture. We made Dabke -the Jordanian famous dance- and we presented a presentation about Jordan. The Germans were very interested to know about our country.

In Hanover I presented a very important presentation entitled "Islam Denounces Terrorism" to show and reveal the true Islam which denounce and fight terrorism with all means. The presentation was presented in front of the society member of the German-Jordanian Society. My friend Mohammad Al-Omoosh also talked about Jordan and the parliamentary life in the country. All presentations were under the supervision of my great friend Firas Assaf, who provided us with the technical support we needed.

This is me while presenting "Islam Denounces Terrorism"

As I have told my friends and relatives, I had my greatest trip ever in Germany. First of all I gained a lot of information and knowledge about many new things. Second I never had fun like the fun which I had in Germany with my Jordanian friends and of course our German friends.
